Sibling priority

The sibling must be on roll at Reach Academy Hanworth Park both when the application is made and when the child starts in September 2027. Full, half, adopted, long-term foster, step and qualifying cohabiting-partner siblings are included when they live at the same home address as part of the same core family unit.

Children of staff

Up to three places are available for children of staff based at Reach Academy Hanworth Park for more than half their working week. The staff member must have two years' qualifying service or have been recruited to a demonstrable skills-shortage post, and the child must live with them for more than half the Sunday-to-Thursday term-time nights.

How distance is measured

Hounslow decides whether an address is within five miles using the walking route from the property's LLPG or NLPG seed point to the secondary pupil entrance beside Reach Academy Feltham. The five-mile boundary is an eligibility category, not a nearest-first ranking: applicants within an oversubscribed category are randomly ordered. SchoolRange shows a postcode-based straight-line estimate but requires Hounslow's official measurement to confirm the category.

Other published rules

  • When any priority category has more eligible applicants than available places, the academy uses a random lottery in front of a person independent of the school.
  • If the final place falls to one child from a twin, triplet or higher multiple birth, the academy admits the other children from that birth even if PAN is exceeded.
  • The nursery Early Years Pupil Premium category in the all-through policy applies only to Reception or a delayed Year 1 admission, not to Year 7.
