Priority order

  1. Children whose EHCP names The Green School for Boys
  2. 60 Christian Foundation places for eligible Anglican worshippers, eligible worshippers in listed Christian denominations, boys attending St Paul's CE Primary School, Brentford, and qualifying siblings originally admitted under specified faith criteria
  3. 60 Community places, increased by any unfilled Christian Foundation places
  4. Within each pool: looked-after and previously looked-after boys
  5. Within each pool: exceptional medical or social need requiring this school
  6. Within each pool: boys with an eligible sibling at The Green School for Boys or The Green School for Girls, including either sixth form
  7. Within each pool: eligible children of school staff
  8. Within each pool: other boys ordered by Hounslow's official walking distance

Sibling priority

The sibling may attend The Green School for Boys or The Green School for Girls, including either sixth form, and must still be on roll when the applicant starts. Full, step, half, adopted and foster siblings living at the same address are included. The school also uses the sibling's original admissions category when deciding whether the applicant can enter the Christian Foundation pool without a new Religious Reference Form.

Children of staff

The policy prioritises boys of school staff where the staff member has worked at the school for at least two years when the application is made, or was recruited to a post with a demonstrable skills shortage.

How distance is measured

Hounslow measures the walking route from the LLPG or NLPG seed point for the home address to the nearest pupil entrance, using its official GIS network. SchoolRange can show an indicative postcode distance but does not reproduce the council's walking-route measurement.
